Nice win today at Kankakee, non conference game following a 5.5 hr 16 inning affair that saw them lose to Springfield. Got back about 1am so to go out today and put up 12 runs was good to see.

They definatley are up and down this season.

What is the record currently JB? Probably more importantly, how are they looking in conference play?

Wow...Huge 3 game sweep of PArkland this weekend. I think there is one makeup conference game Tues and then the seeding come out and they find out their fate for the sub region...new format this year. Its possible that the Cougars will host a best of 3 to play thier way into the tournament. Find out Wed

Cougars absolutly light up Lincoln College and Danville down in Danville to win the Sub Region. Yesterday they beat Lincoln and then Danville.

Today they returned to blast Lincoln again.

Cougars season ends today. Last night they lost to Springfield 3-0 getting only 3 hits off a very tough lefty. Today they lost to Heartland 3-2.

I have had a blast following the boys the past 2 seasons and will miss it greatly. Adam Cunningham, Korey Donaldson, Nick Eeten, Josh Haun, Brandon England, Brock Watson, Jesse Burns....all good kids and good players. Hopefully I'll be able to follow them wherever they land. Best of luck to all of them.
