I couldn't afford the pay cut.

What if the government (or a good democratic president) was responsible for and managed your expenses?

You mean like a college coach at a state university.

I don't care who it is, as long as it's someone who really wants the job and will be willing to put in the time, not only during the season but during the Summer. I'd like to see them pick someone fairly young(young enough to understand this generation but not too young they won't respect his authority as coach), who is most likely unattached, as the first few years after acquiring this position will require a lot of attention. Don't need any baggage, wife & kids, moaning and groaning about hubby/dad not being home for 5 months during the season and 2 months in the Summer. Whoever it is, their heart and soul needs to be 100% into being the Basketball coach at MTHS.rodney21 wrote:So Brad DuBois is getting this job?
If I had to guess though, Brad will not be the Birds' coach next year.

You can't possibly serious.
There is no such thing as a good democratic president (except for Kennedy.)
Socialists I tell you, socialists!!!

Many applications to sort through. Interviews may start as early as next week, but are scheduled for February. It is true, I believe, that Dubois is shying away from this position. He instills the same as Brockhouse, as they both played under Toepke, and have similar coaching styles. No matter, parents will get involved if they don't like the new hire, within a couple of years. That's the shame of the whole thing. I would settle, right now, for someone who can run a practice and inject some enthusiasm into the players.

I wonder how many applicants MTHS has received for this job.

Dubois is a great guy and very good coach! He would really do a good job with the team over at Metamora!
