Boys Regional Champ @ WHS
Re: Boys and Girls Regional
Central started the game up9-0 and Woody came back and controlled the lead most of the first half. Then I came back in the third and Cntrel was up 21 and never looked back. C Thomas has now been at Woody for over six years and never had a winning record.

ND tops RHS in one of the best Bball games I have ever seen. The score was back and forth all night. The fans for both team were awesome, with both student sections on their feet for the entire game, It was close to a selout crowd so if you are planning on attending the Friday night game I suggest geting there a little early or you will be parked in the boonies and waiting in a cold line to get in.

Great high school basketball game. I definitely got my $4.00 worth!!
Very physical game with a lot of fouls and a lot of free throws. The calls were pretty even with the exception of Hogan. He fouled out after playing probably a total of 6 minutes. I think he had 2 actual fouls and 3 phantom fouls. It was weird, it was like the refs were out to get him.
One thing that was apparent to me was PND's experience vs. RHS youth. When PND went to a zone in the 2nd quarter RHS really struggled. They are very good and very quick but they seem baffled at times.
One question, at the end of the first quarter Donnelly from PND grabbed a rebound with like 2 seconds left, turned and attempted to hurl the ball full court at the buzzer and was fouled. I don't know if you call that but he was grabbed by the guy, so I guess he had to call it. The strange part is he got only 2 FT's. With one second left and the length of the court to go, what else would he be doing other than shooting, and if he was shooting full court, why not 3 FT's? Can one of you amateur ref's help me out.
