Are the Rocks heading back up? I always enjoyed when Rock Island used to come to Peoria and play Manual, Central, and Richwoods.

The rocks should be very good for the next sevearl years.
the return all starter plus many part -time starters from last year they lose 3 players from the team
freshmen went 21-2 and had randle playing varsity...leading scorer and all big six as a frosh
3 other frsoh played sops and dressed varsity- royce muskeyvalley, jordan hathorn and devon jones.
sophs were 21-4 won 17 straight after calling up the frosh. three other frosh played sophs alll year shawn banks,nathan gray and braxton sumpter(6'7)
sophs dj anderson and victor jones dressed varisty all year with starting many games until an injury kept hime out.

should be serious copmtetion for jobs this season..returning players 6'6 brandon pullmen could be a star, julien mayfield was rated among the top juniors, 2 year starter ben sparkmen will return and chris guess 6'5 started at center as a junior
8th grade was not deep but coming in will be 6'6 Frosh denzel mccauley, who is talented and working, may see summer varsity minutes
the also have two other kids that are 6'4 and 6'5

expectations do not mean much BUT this is the first time in a long time that rocky has had this type of expectations....

He's one of the other Woody freshman that played varsity and is on AAU team with Stewart and Jordan. Heard he was going to either Manual or Central.

I think thats the thing thats changing high school sports for the worst, players leave and go to different schools just for the sports programs. You never see well known players transfering to woodruff, canton, or EP, but just the past two years weve had Dyricus transfer to Washington, now both of the woody freshman are going to basketball powerhouses.

I wouldn't say Limestone is a powerhouse.

Not pereniell powerhouse like Simeon or anything but id say they are on the verge of some great years of basketball. If this transfer can step up and do some things I think they could be the best team in the area next year.

Actually that is incorrect! In 1999 Josh Caruso (Pre-season baseball all-american) and standout basketball player transferred from Dunlap to EP!
