Hopefully justice will be served before the season is over and the Warriors can make a nice run to the playoffs. nice addition coming I belive week 7, just missed week6 by one day. If the two of them are on the field together teams really need to look out.

I am glad that I can say it here........the fish stinks from the head and the coach at PND should not be back next year.

My dad has nothing to do with this and I am not speaking w/ any info other than my gut but the man is flat out not liked by anyone.

He is demeaning to the kids which to be honest can be effective if you at one point build them back up as being humbled can be a very cleansing experience......trust me I speak from experience as a football player and at jiu-jitsu.

The guy has no follow through and seems to have an arrogance about him that I have NEVER seen at any level in my entire life. JCA is awesome the coaching is awesome. You can sit a kid if you don't like him because there is another just waiting to take his place. At PND you can't do that because the talent pool isn't as big. There was an assistant at PND when I was there and he hated my guts (we have since put that behind us), but he was also smart enough to play me despite the fact that he couldn't stand me because I needed and wanted to be on the field all the time.

I am not complaining because my nephew isn't playing a ton because he has his own issues, but what I am saying is that he is also hurting the underclass by throwing them to the wolves. When you have an underclass skill position kid it is acceptable to give him a few plays once in awhile but once he starts taking a pounding form Jr's and Sr's it shakes his confidence a little as everyone knows getting hit by a Frosh and getting hit by an upperclass DB or LB is a totally different experience and I don't care how much you weigh, or how much you bench. If I knew the RB or WR was an underclassman I would light him up as opposed to making a solid textbook tackle, and I know I am not alone here because that is defense 101, if you shake their confidence......game over.

OK I am done. I've made my feelings clear and I actually feel a lot better......sorry about the rant. I prayed every night after they interviewed Donahue a couple years ago as I think he was the best head coach PND ever had and they took this guy.......the OL coaching spot of all time on the other hand would be going to......well you know. Wink

To be honest the only one I really know well is Rich Dawson and he has done nothing but be a positive influence on the school and the football program as a whole.

When Hitzeroth left to coach golf.....the program lost a lot, but it can and will come back.

I4 you know I heard coach Thornton might be looking for a coaching job next year, since they closed down the school he is currently coaching at. I would love to see him @ PND.

They have put a lot of $ in the new building/stadium plans I think that would be a tough sell to those that have spent the past 5 yrs on that project.

The Diocese got out of the East Bluff for a reason......but anything is possible.

If PND bought Woodruff then they wouldn't be allowed in the Mid Illini, because the parents would be to scared to let their precious little children out of the bubble.

Trust me. PND is not coming to the MI, no matter where their school is....

Sorry to repeat, but I was of town that week. I missed the Burch details. What was it? He doesn't live in Woody's district or what? Or is it cuz he was arrested or something?

I would check where a nice section of PND kids live before making that statement.

I would bet there a number of PND students that live in Central Dist. Probably some in Woodruff dist. I would guess that most live in RHS, Dunlap Dist

Quote "because the parents would be to scared to let their precious little children out of the bubble."

BINGO. That is the REAL reason why the MI wants no part of Central, Manual, and Richwoods. Anyone who doesn't believe this is in 100% denial. I spent to much time at Dunlap and work with way to many Washington people. They would bring police security with them to a baseball game at Manual.

I'm not one to stir the pot but, I'm going to stir the pot later today or tomorrow in my FINAL post on the PJ Star Boards. Time to move on...........that board ran its course about three years ago.
