After 8 years............Final Post

I believe it was 2001 when I started posting on the old PJ Star Board. The current board says I joined in Sept. 2003 and have 1800 plus posts. However, it is probably more like 2000 if you count all the deleted topics.

I started posting because back then Jim Beam was about the only Richwood’s poster on the PJ Star boards. Most of the posters were Metamora backers or Pekin backers. Hard to believe now but Pekin had a ton of posters. Remember "The Tornado/" ? anyway, I started to give support to Richwoods. Over the years RHS has gained many quality posters. They will do a good job continuing to cover the Knights on the message boards.

I do have one pet peeve that I will get off my chest. Some MS6 posters will be having a nice chat about teams or players from the MS6. Without fail a MI poster, with no frame of reference who has never seen a MS6 game between two MS6 teams and most likely never will, wanders in and adds his two cents. That would be great but they have no idea what we are talking about and their post is usually inaccurate. When I post on MI teams, I will say something like this: Wow, great win for the Panthers. I heard the game on the radio and it sounds like the Underwood boys had a big game. Or something like this: Wow, I wouldn't want to play Metamora this week. I don't pretend to know everything about every team because I usually only see them play in the playoffs. Yet, MI 'fan" knows "everything" about the MS6, when in reality they know nothing. .........It gets a little old.

94 I hope it was your last post on PJstar and not here. If we could get a few more over here I would love to boycott the pjstar site, what a joke.

I am in...agreed. Although, there are quite a few ignorant posters over there...don't want to bring to many of them.

No, which makes no sense....Retiring from this board is no big deal. This is where you come if you retire from the big board.

I wish you all would post on both PJStar and here. While on PJStar, just let the bs go in one ear and out the other and just remember you have to tip toe thru tulips while posting. Sometimes it sucks, but, it's just the way it is. Then, come on here and be much more at ease to be open. Be thankful to Beamer you have this outlet to do so. Hate to see good posters leave PJStar that are quality and give great insight into their programs.

The HS topics just dont seem to be real active here....But the PJstar board just has too many idiots. I cant tell you the number of posts i have typed and just before I send , I just delete and go away....

94 knight I know you are no longer posting on either site,but I am sure you are still reading. So if you are come back to posting on this site and atleast let us know if you posted a final FU post on the pjstar board.

As I put in my above post I only started posting because of lack of RHS posters or MS6 posters in general. Now there are several MS6/RHS posters that can carry the load. My services are no longer needed.

No FU for the PJ Star board because I would never do that to Joe or the mods over there. They do a pretty good job and don't deserve that and my beef isn't with them.

No post this Friday unless the Knights completely look flat and unfocused. I assure you I will have posts on here (no more PJ Star board) after the QND, Woody, and the playoff games.

Looks like I will survive downsizing at work however as of now I will be taking on the majority of the work from thoes who get axed.....yeah. I'm eliminating a lot of my time wasting habits (posting sports message boards) and focusing on the big picture.

BTW Lil Warrior, I hadn't seen Aaron Bresko in a while and I ran into him last Saturday morning at Toys R Us of all places.

Glad to hear you will stil be posting here. What was Bresko doing at toys r us?

Same thing I was doing, buying birthday gifts for our nieces.......and talking some college football.

I see Aaron alot in the summer, hes a pretty good umpire around here. Plus I get along with him.
