Ew, that's a bad sign. Wes doesn't pull out the late-season feature article until he thinks your team is gonna lose. Last week he did the Nate Joseph (EP fullback) piece because he thought EP was one and done against Cahokia.

Well given the recent past performances in round 2, its the safe assumption. I like this teams chances to advance, but they have to do everything well........Special teams concern me and I hope Davis is 100%..and mentally ready

They team is already down there and in the hotel, so hopefull they wont see the article till Sunday morning

That was a smart move going down the night before. We had a bad experience traveling the day of in college and it was a much shorter drive. From that point on we traveled the night before. The positives totally outway the cost.

Agreed. Especially for a playoff game. Kids get a good nights rest and then it's a "normal" gameday on Saturday. Hope the Knights get back to Peoria with a victory!

However saying Peter and TJ have combined for 8 TD catches (Peter has 7) Is like saying my wife and I are a combined 425 pounds. (She is about 130)

.......Damn that's funny!

Sounds like Peter Cunningham was right in the middle of everything in the big comeback?

Yep, he was a playmaker for 2 drives... But only because Nate T was given the green light to let it go and he totally responded.

Hey Jim Beam, you probably have already seen this video, but there are some really nice catches by Peter.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zHpHmRWj-Y&feature=player_embedded#

It sounded really exciting on the radio. Peter's name was getting called a lot and I was doing play by play for my wife upstairs. Her response : "Peter Rocks!"

What a weird looking field - yellow grass with blue lines...

Yea, I have seen it. I think its awesome that the game was able to be listended to by so many folks here. My 80 yr old Mother was so excited and my in laws loved it.

I have heard that the announcers were great and that they were terrible.....but, hey they at least broadcast the game

Thanks for the link

And I guess Im an idiot, but the dormant style of grass was intended to look yellow??? ANd blue lines....I get it now. I just figured the grass had gone dormant for the winter and had thought it was more of a brown, but on video I can see that the idea is to have it be yellow and blue...everything down there was yellow and blue....
